Several years ago, while
recovering from cancer, I was inspired to paint
mandalas using only dots. What I came up
with were unique, one of a kind designs. I have
no proof that this helped in my recovery, but I
did find it calming, encouraging and empowering
when I most needed to be strong and
positive. Though I have always been
considered creative, I never thought of myself
as "an artist". I was simply someone who
played with shapes and colors. But when people
began asking for my mandala paintings, I knew I
had found my niche and passion. Now, I feel
quite comfortable to call myself an artist.
In addition to the paintings currently for sale
shown below, I most enjoy creating personalized
mandalas. I have found a way to make them truly
individualized by using a simple questionnaire.
I combine the answers of the questionnaire into
a piece of art that can make meditation or
prayer more intense, more meaningful, and more
powerful. I believe that holding, visualizing,
or sitting with a personal mandala during
meditation or prayer, while listening to music,
or simply when being one with nature, will
enhance, encourage, and allow the flow of
healing energies.
I am happy to create your mandala, or gift
mandala, in whatever shape, size, and colors you
most desire. Feel free to browse the
galleries linked below my picture and find the
mandala designs that most resonate with you.

more information on placing your order and to
fill out the questionnaire.

A mandala, which is Sanskrit for “circle” or
“discoid object,” is a geometric design that
holds a great deal of symbolism in many
cultures. Mandalas are believed to represent
different aspects of the universe and are used
as instruments of meditation and prayer.
In their most basic form, mandalas are
circles contained within a square and arranged
into sections that are organized around a
single, central point.
A mandala is a spiritual symbol in many cultures
and can be understood in different ways,
externally as a visual representation of the
universe, or internally, as a guide for
meditation.
The belief is that by focusing on entering the
mandala and proceeding toward its center, you
are guided through the cosmic process of
transforming the universe from one of suffering
into one of joy, healing, and happiness.
